About the Role
Do you want to combine technical expertise with business development and long-term customer relationships? Then the role of Technical Sales Representative at Sto could be your next step!
You will be responsible for developing the business within your district (Småland) by nurturing existing customer relationships and proactively identifying and establishing new business opportunities. Using a structured sales process, you will plan your work strategically, drive customer projects forward, and build long-term relationships through high engagement.
You will work with Sto's complete system solutions for plaster, facade, and facade insulation systems, serving as a natural advisor to contractors, construction companies, facade specialists, and other players in the construction industry. Through your technical competence, you help customers find the solution that best meets their needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage the market and develop both new and existing customer relationships.
- Plan and conduct customer visits, as well as identify new business opportunities.
- Work according to a structured sales process with clear annual planning, activity plans, and follow-ups.
- Develop solution proposals, quotes, and follow up on deals from initial contact to closure.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience in technical sales within the construction industry and a genuine interest in creating long-term business relationships. Knowledge of facades, plaster, facade systems, or related products is a plus.
You are a proactive individual who takes initiative, enjoys planning and prioritizing your own work, and thrives in a structured environment. You value a clear sales process where activities, follow-ups, and long-term thinking lead to good results.
We believe you:
- have experience in B2B sales within the construction or contracting industry
- are accustomed to working independently towards set goals and budgets
- have strong technical understanding and the ability to translate customer needs into the right solutions
- build trust through a professional and business-minded approach
- possess strong administrative skills and work systematically in CRM and other sales systems.
