Our ward consists of 24 care beds where we treat acutely ill patients, primarily with surgical and medical conditions, but cardiology, urology, infectious diseases, pulmonology, and psychiatry are also part of our daily routine. To thrive here, you should enjoy a fast pace with rapid changes and varied work with short care processes.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a nursing assistant here, you are part of the patient-centered team working with care, assessments, medical treatments, as well as social planning and ward rounds during the day. Your tasks include nursing care and actively participating in ward rounds with the responsibilities your profession holds on our ward. You will also provide guidance to students and colleagues based on their experience level.
We expect you to be interested in participating in the ward's operational development, taking personal responsibility, and working together with us to achieve our goals.
To ensure you get the best possible start with us, we offer an individually tailored introduction and training in consultation with the manager and mentor.
QualificationsEducated as a nursing assistant or care assistant. You should be able to adapt to changing circumstances and varying work pace, which is characteristic of working on an acute care ward. Your focus on patients is strong, and you have a high work ethic.
To assess employability, grades from your healthcare education must be attached to your application.
Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
We require at least one year of previous professional experience. Experience from working on an inpatient ward is a significant plus. We place great emphasis on overall personal suitability.
