As a local cleaner, you will work with services that include systematic cleaning in operations as well as periodic floor care, moving and end-of-lease cleaning, and various types of specialist cleaning. The content and frequencies of our cleaning work are built according to Repab's recommendations and the Public Health Agency of Sweden's general advice.

You will work both independently and in a team. Since you meet many of our customers in your work, you are an important representative of our operations and a good ambassador for Hässleholm Municipality. The role involves some heavy lifting.

About the position

Cleaning within the Technical Administration can include among other things:

• Cleaning of offices, corridors, classrooms, toilets, and stairs, etc.
• Collaboration and communication with colleagues and customers
• Dosing and use of chemical products
• Refilling and ordering of consumables
• Handling of waste and laundry
• Operating a combined scrubber-dryer
• Use of digital tools such as the municipality's intranet, e-mail, and Teams

Working hours are varying and can range from as early as 06:30 to as late as 17:00. The position is a hourly-paid job, and you will work throughout Hässleholm Municipality.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who

• has a high school education or other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent
• master Swedish in speech and writing, which is important for being able to read and follow work instructions
• has a B-driving license and access to a car
• has basic computer skills, as we largely inform, communicate, and report via smartphones and various platforms such as Teams and Office365
• can handle physically demanding work, has good physical fitness, and good mobility

We consider it meritorious if you have

• certification/vocational training in cleaning
• experience from other service professions

As a person, you are self-reliant, responsible, and can work both independently and in a group. The role requires an inclusive approach characterized by diversity, influence, and consideration.

You are motivated by providing service and do not compromise on quality. You are communicative and understand the importance of continuously maintaining dialogue with the customer/operation to develop and preserve the customer relationship. About us

The Technical Administration is responsible for creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for the municipality's inhabitants, employees, and visitors. We work broadly and coordinated within several important service areas, including property, street and park, meals, and cleaning. With us, you work to make everyday life better for our inhabitants every day.

Within the department for cleaning and textile washing, approximately 150 employees work. We care for premises and serve operations within elderly care and for people with disabilities. We are present in preschools, primary schools, leisure centers, high schools, special housing within the care administration, and offices. With a focus on service and treatment, we solve the operation's needs with high competence and visible quality. Operational development is important to us; it is about being responsive and open to daring to try and use new technologies and methods.
