About the Role

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Sundsvall cares for the region's sickest patients. On the ward, doctors, specialist nurses, specialist nursing assistants, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists work in close collaboration. The ICU is also responsible for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). As a nursing assistant here, you will work with a wide variety of tasks within intensive, intermediate, and post-anesthesia care. We work in teams, and our patients come from various specialties within the hospital, which is both a challenge and an opportunity for development. If you want a varied, developmental, and enjoyable job on a ward with dedicated and positive staff, you are welcome to join our ICU. All staff work in three shifts with a preferred schedule. We are now looking for three nursing assistants for the Intensive Care Unit in Sundsvall. The positions are permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-09-15 or as agreed.

Responsibilities

  • Standard nursing assistant tasks in a high-tech environment. The main responsibilities consist of patient-oriented care.
  • Work around the patient is carried out in teams where, as a nursing assistant, you also handle medical technical equipment, assist with various procedures, and document.
  • Work is performed alternately between the ICU, IMCU, and PACU.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Are a trained nursing assistant.
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have experience working in a hospital.
