We at JOIN are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a project with one of our clients in Skåne. The role involves working in a development project with a focus on design, technical problem-solving, and product development.

This assignment suits you if you thrive in an environment where you get to work broadly within mechanics and collaborate with different parts of the business.

About the role

The responsibilities will include among other things:

• Design, development, and improvement of mechanical components and products
• Prototyping
• CAD work, technical drawings, and documentation
• Technical problem-solving, analysis, and testing
• Close collaboration with suppliers and various parts of the organization

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of one or more CAD tools
• Has experience with kinematics/mechanical motion
• Is a self-driven "doer" accustomed to working iteratively in a team and getting things done, including practical work with prototype builds
• Experience with strength calculations and simulation tools is a plus
• Experience from MedTech is a plus.

About the assignment

• Location: Skåne (Malmö/Lund area)
• Start: As agreed
• Duration: approx. 12 months, with possibility of extension
• Hours: Full-time
• Employment type: Fixed-term employment or B2B agreement
• Language: Swedish and/or English
