About Us

The SRHR Bus is a mobile clinic aimed at making SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights) accessible. Services offered in the SRHR Bus include STI testing and contact tracing for chlamydia, HPV vaccination and self-testing, contraceptive counseling, and conversations about sexual health and ill-health.

The bus serves residents throughout the Region of Västra Götaland. The target group includes people of all ages and genders. The SRHR Bus collaborates regularly with local actors around Västra Götaland. The bus is also present at various events, such as Pride and other festivals. The SRHR Bus is also available digitally as a digital clinic, chatbot, and human chat. We also staff the needle exchange clinic at Östra Hospital with midwives.

About the Job

We offer you an interesting and stimulating job in collaboration with dedicated colleagues. You will work independently and outward-facing with clinic operations in the SRHR Bus and at the needle exchange clinic. The work involves both clinical patient contact and educational and informational work, as well as driving an RV to strategic locations and collaborating with local actors within the Region of Västra Götaland's catchment area. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and service of the bus. Since the SRHR Bus operates throughout the region, some travel will be required, sometimes with irregular working hours and overnight stays.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife and have experience working with sexual health, and who appreciate teamwork. A B-class driver's license is required. Experience working in psychiatry and addiction care, as well as experience working with migrant groups, norm-critical work, and LGBTQ+ competence are meritorious. Experience working with digital chat functions is desirable.

We are looking for you who enjoy mobile work in varying environments and weather conditions. As a person, you are outgoing and have an easy time collaborating with others. You are also flexible and appreciate when the content of workdays varies. Your value system reflects respect, inclusion, equal rights, and opportunities. Great importance is attached to personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

The position is a full-time temporary assignment for one year with the possibility of extension.
