Do you enjoy a job with highly varied tasks where clarity is key?

We are currently looking for summer substitutes who can work primarily day shifts (07:00–14:30) in July and September and/or night shifts (22:00–07:00) in August, as well as on an as-needed basis throughout the period (e.g., in case of illness). Evening shifts (14:30–22:00) may also be considered.

I am a woman in my 50s living with my husband and our cat. I have cerebral palsy combined with another neurological condition, which means I need assistance with everything requiring motor skills, strength, or coordination. My speech is affected, so it varies how easily I am understood, but with a bit of time and patience, it usually resolves quite easily.

As my assistant, you will assist me in all aspects of my life.

I need assistance with:

• Dressing and undressing
• Eating and drinking
• Mobility (I stand up, but a lift is available as a backup)
• All common household chores
• Help at the stable: putting on gear and getting on the horse with the help of a lift
• Fetching items I need within reach
• Accompanying me wherever I go, whether at work, at the stable, at home, or during other activities

To thrive as my assistant, the following should suit you well:

• You have no need for control and are completely comfortable being in the background until assistance is needed, then returning to the background.
• You understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
• You are fearless and grounded.
• You can accept constructive criticism.
• You do not have a need to "take care of people" in the sense of taking over responsibility.
• You speak and write fluent Swedish with a rich vocabulary.
• You do not smoke.
• You do not use perfume or strongly scented products.

About the position

You will be employed on an hourly basis as a temporary substitute, preferably starting as soon as possible. If things go well, you can continue as a temporary substitute afterwards.

This is a 24/7 assistance role with awake nights. Shifts are scheduled for 07:00–14:30, 14:30–22:00, and 22:00–07:00. Female applicants only.
