What does the job as a residential support worker at Frösunda involve?
As a residential support worker, you work at one of our residences to support, motivate, and stimulate the individual's own ability to perform activities in daily life. The work is based on each customer's individual needs and aims to create structure, routines, and planning in everyday life.
Residential support is granted to people with various types of disabilities. Therefore, the individual's conditions, needs, and development drive the interventions. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.
The role also includes documentation, drawing up implementation plans, and acting as a contact person.
Examples of tasks
- Support in daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, and bed-making
- Documentation and reporting
- Excursions, walks, exercise, and other activities
- Personal care, for example hygiene, showering, toilet visits, and social support
- Support and motivate the customer to increased independence in daily life
Working hours
Working hours are scheduled based on the customers' needs and vary between day shifts, on-call duties, and evening shifts, both on weekdays and weekends.
About Glädjevägen
The Glädjevägen group home in Hässelby is for people, young and adult, with disabilities within the neuropsychiatric field.
Group home Glädjevägen is located in a villa area in Hässelby, 15 kilometers northwest of central Stockholm. Here it is close to pleasant outdoor areas and five minutes to the nearest grocery store. If we want to go a bit further, the residence has its own car which we use, for example, for excursions.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.
- We prefer that you are a nurse assistant, mental health care worker, or have another equivalent education.
- Previous experience working with LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and care experience is highly meritorious.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
- We prefer that you have good physical fitness.
- We prefer that you have experience working with low-affective interaction and can apply this in practice when meeting our customers.

Scope: Part-time
Start date: Immediately
We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
In the event of employment, you must be able to produce a certificate from the Swedish Criminal Record Office. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
