Hemvårdsområde 2 in Mariestad is part of the elderly care services and covers the groups Bråten, Lockerud, and Gärdet. Here, 20 employees work to provide the best possible support to our residents! Job Responsibilities

In your role, you will perform personal care tasks such as dressing and undressing, and support residents with toilet and shower routines. You will also perform delegated healthcare tasks, including medication distribution, venous blood sampling, and wound dressings. Other duties include service tasks, daily chores, and social interaction. The role also involves close collaboration with planners, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the unit manager. The work is largely independent, although double staffing is also practiced.

We work with continuous care contact and representation duties, where you as an employee have the opportunity to grow with the responsibility while simultaneously being part of the development of the operations.

We work based on a 7-week schedule with day and evening shifts, and you will also work three out of seven weekends. The schedule also includes resource shifts to cover absences at other workplaces.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and preferably have work experience from home care.

We are looking for you who are responsive, positive, and confident in individual meetings with residents and have a good ability to work independently with care tasks. Your inspiring and positive attitude contributes to a good community and joy among both residents and colleagues.

Since the catchment area mainly involves apartment visits, you must be in good physical health. You must also be flexible as the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues, where you are expected to be able to step in and support as needed in both groups, including in other areas through resource shifts.

We would appreciate if you have experience dealing with people with mental health issues. You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing. This is because many of your tasks involve receiving instructions and conveying information correctly and clearly. You should also have digital maturity in computer and mobile usage as we use these as work tools.

A driver's license is an advantage.
