We are now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant as a temporary hourly worker in July, August, and preferably also in September. Working hours are scheduled both during the day approx. 9-19 and nights 22-09. During the nights, the assistant has on-call time. So perfect if you are an evening-active student and like to study late in the evening/night as the assistants have their own space.

The Client and Job Description

The client is a woman with a physical disability. The client lives with her two children and a large dog. The dog is taken care of by the family, but it is important that you do not have fur allergies or are afraid of dogs. The client communicates freely herself, so you need to be attentive and open to receiving the client's wishes and instructions.

As a personal assistant, you will help meet the client's daily and basic needs. This means assisting the client with daily tasks such as:

• Support during all transfer movements and position changes
• Toilet visits
• Personal care
• Personal hygiene
• Dressing and undressing
• Rehabilitation/training
• Meals
• Laundry and cleaning
• Unpacking goods
• Helping the client when she is going to work
• Activities and entertainment

We are looking for you who meet these requirements

• Female
• No fur allergies or fear of dogs
• Category B driver's license (not necessary for the work but to easily get to the client's home)
• Fluent in Swedish
• Physically strong to be able to perform transfers

Otherwise, the client would like you to be structured and organized. You are empathetic and put the client's needs in focus. It is meritorious if you have basic technical knowledge to help with, for example, computers. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of transfer techniques.
