About the role

As a QA Tester, you will become an important part of the team and be responsible for ensuring that Axis products maintain the highest quality before reaching customers worldwide. The role is not just about finding bugs, but about understanding the big picture, analyzing details, and contributing to well-thought-out test solutions in close collaboration with developers and other QA specialists.

You will work throughout the entire product development process, combining manual and automated testing. There is room to code, experiment, and develop technically. An experienced tester describes the role like this:

You will work with, among other things:

• System testing in both Windows and Linux environments
• Automated and manual testing, both scripted and exploratory
• Technologies such as networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy) and test automation
• Close collaboration with development teams in an agile environment

Who are you?

• You have recently graduated or will be graduating in 2026 in computer science, programming, IT, or another technical university/college degree (a Master of Science in Engineering degree is a plus)
• You have good technical understanding and an interest in coding and systems
• You are communicative and thrive in team collaboration
• You want to develop within QA, testing, and test automation

Previous experience in testing is a plus but not a requirement. We value your technical curiosity, sense of responsibility, and desire to continue developing.

About the gig

This is a consultancy assignment via Gigstep, where you will initially be employed by us, with the ambition to transition into a permanent position at Axis. Continuous selection process.
