Job Description

Do you want to contribute to the development of tomorrow's diagnostic products? Do you have experience with laboratory work within GMP and thrive in a coordinating role with a focus on quality?

Randstad is now looking for a driven and structured Lab Engineer for a 6-month consultancy assignment with our client, IDL Diagnostics. The position is part-time (60%, equivalent to approx. 3 days per week) starting in late August or early September.

About the Assignment and IDL Diagnostics

As a Lab Engineer at IDL Diagnostics, you will step into a dynamic environment where innovation meets strict quality requirements. IDL Diagnostics develops and produces diagnostic products and rapid tests, with a special focus on Point of Care (POC).

Working as a Consultant with Randstad

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory work and analyses in accordance with current regulations for medical devices (IVDR).
  • Ensure that laboratory procedures and tests are carried out efficiently and delivered within set deadlines.
  • Write and compile protocols and reports in a precise and regulatory-compliant manner.
  • Work focused on Point of Care products and rapid tests.

Qualifications

  • Education: 3-year higher education or university degree (Bachelor's) in Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or a corresponding relevant field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of practical experience from work within the industry.
  • Quality Systems: Experience with laboratory work under quality management systems such as GMP or ISO.
  • Languages: Very good knowledge of English.
  • IT Tools: Good knowledge of the Office package.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working specifically with diagnostic products.
  • Experience within Point of Care (POC) lateral flow tests.
