About the Role

The Orthopedics Department provides pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic patients, where pain relief and mobilization play a significant role in the care process. On our orthopedic wards, you will meet patients of all ages. We are now looking for a nurse for night shifts to join our team.

As a new nurse with us, your onboarding will take place within the team alongside more experienced staff. We work to strengthen competence in orthopedics, which means you will be offered a self-paced course in orthopedic diseases. Additional internal training will also be provided. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-09-01 or as agreed.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic patients
• Preventive work regarding the risk of pressure ulcers, falls, and malnutrition
• Standard nursing duties on an acute care ward
• Pain relief and rehabilitation

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience working on a hospital ward
• Have professional experience in emergency healthcare
