The orthopedic department provides pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic patients, where pain relief and mobilization play a significant role in the patient journey. We are now looking for a nurse to join our team.

As a nurse with us, you will work together in the team to provide patients with good care. We offer you onboarding within the team alongside more experienced staff. Internal training will also be offered, and we actively work to strengthen competence in orthopedics. The role involves working day and evening shifts, as well as weekend duty 2 out of 5 weekends.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-09-01 or as agreed.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic patients.
• Preventive work regarding the risk of pressure ulcers, falls, and malnutrition.
• Standard nursing duties on an acute care ward.
• Focus on pain relief and rehabilitation.

• Is a licensed nurse.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Have experience working on a hospital ward.
• Have experience in emergency healthcare.

• Personal maturity.
• Ability to collaborate.
• Stability.
• Big-picture thinking.
