We are now looking for an Inside Sales Representative for our Steel Service Center in Arendal. Here you are offered a varied role where you will work closely with both customers and colleagues while becoming an important part of our continued development.

About the role
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will become part of SSAB Europe and our Steel Service Center. You will be part of an engaged team of inside sales representatives who together are responsible for providing our customers with professional service and creating long-term business relationships. The role involves close collaboration with our customers, traveling salespeople, and several internal functions. You will work with forecasting and monitoring of customer volumes, order placement, delivery tracking, and ensure that our business is conducted with high quality and service. At the same time, you serve as an important support to the sales force and have many points of contact both within SSAB Arendal and centrally within the group. You will have significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to create a good overall understanding of our processes. We would appreciate it if you contributed ideas and initiatives that develop our working methods and improve both the customer experience and our internal processes. The role offers a varied daily routine where you combine customer contact, administration, and problem-solving with a strong business focus. A few travel days per year are included in the position.

Your experience
We are looking for you with a couple of years of experience in a similar role within inside sales, Customer Care, or customer service. Experience from the manufacturing industry is advantageous, and if you have also worked with industrial customers, for example within the automotive industry or with suppliers within metal, steel, or industrial technology, we see it as an extra plus. You have experience with order placement, delivery tracking, and customer contact, and feel comfortable working in business systems. Experience with SAP is advantageous. Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We also believe that you have post-secondary education or equivalent.
