Store and Warehouse Associate with Escort Responsibilities

Your Role

In this role, a key part of the job is acting as an escort for our subcontractors during on-site work. You will be responsible for monitoring and supporting contractors in their operations, ensuring that work is carried out in a safe, smooth, and secure manner according to current procedures and regulations. The role involves many points of contact and requires you to be service-oriented, communicative, and comfortable collaborating with both colleagues and external parties.

As an employee in the tool store/warehouse, you are part of a team that supports production through the lending and handling of tools, warehouse withdrawals, workwear, bicycles, as well as maintenance of machinery, forklifts, cars, and mobile cranes. The role also includes responsibility for inspections and other practical support tasks within the operations.

Examples of tasks:

• Issue and receive tools.
• Maintain, repair, send for repair, or replace tools.
• Register withdrawals and returns.
• Support other employees in the warehouse.

At Saab Muskö, we work with Swedish Navy vessels regarding repair, maintenance, and modifications. Here, you will become part of a tight-knit team that constantly works to ensure the Navy's vessels are available and operational. We now need new employees who want to continue the shipyard tradition and contribute to strengthening Saab's operations on Muskö.

Your Profile

Furthermore, you must be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English, as well as have basic computer skills.

We would like you to have the following qualifications:

• Experience working with tools/tool issuance and tool care (required).
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Category B driver's license.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks applicable at the time. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
