Care Driver

We are looking for you who want to work as a care driver at Svarsvik Trafik och Transport AB. We carry out assignments for Samtrans Omsorgsresor.

Job Responsibilities

As a care driver, you contribute to helping people who do not have the opportunity to use public transport. This can involve trips to and from hospitals, schools, work, and activities. It can also involve passengers with illnesses or functional variations.

During the workday, you will operate wheelchair taxis, medical transport, personal transport services (färdtjänst), and school transport.

As a care driver, you will undergo a certification training so that you are well prepared for your work.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is responsible and engaged and can provide our passengers with high-quality care.

We want you to be a person with drive and who takes responsibility for your work. It is also important that you have great patience and provide good service, even in stressful situations.

You should have good local knowledge of the Stockholm area and enjoy driving.

Requirements:

• Category B driver's license for at least two years and good driving experience
• Taxi Driver's License (TFL)
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Experience from healthcare and care work.
• Samtrans Certification Training

Conditions

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the positions may be filled before the application deadline.

Employment Type

Full-time, with a six-month probationary period.

We are also looking for hourly substitutes.

A collective agreement is in place.
