We are looking for you who are a nurse assistant and want to help develop primary care in Finspång.

Our Offer

The Finspång Health Centre is part of the Primary Care Centre within Region Östergötland and has been located in modern premises at Vårdcentrum Finspång since 2020. Here you will also find an emergency centre, pharmacy, rehabilitation, primary care ward, LAH, and the municipality's short-term accommodation, which facilitates close collaboration.

We are a forward-looking organization with a strong focus on good working environment, development, and health. We actively work to create conditions for sustainable working life while maintaining a development-inspired approach to meet future challenges within primary care. We offer excellent opportunities for career development for those who wish to advance in their profession.

From the turn of the year 2024–2025, Finspång Health Centre and Skärblacka Health Centre will form a joint operational area to create a more robust organization for future needs. Together, the operations cover approximately 27,000 registered patients and around 130 employees. In Finspång, this also includes a branch in Rejmyre as well as the Finspång emergency centre.

Please read about our career ladder for nurse assistants/nursing assistants and your benefits with us; here you will also find information regarding regulations concerning salary and allowances.

Job Description

With us, you are offered a varied, stimulating, and independent job where you have the opportunity to work within several operational areas. You will primarily work at our laboratory with sample collection and handling of samples in our provincial submission. Later in the fixed-term contract, rotation to our district doctor clinic, emergency clinic, and various specialist clinics may be possible.

Your duties include, among other things, sample collection and laboratory work, assisting doctors during examinations and treatments (e.g., suturing), and working at the nurse assistant clinic with blood pressure checks, ECG registrations, and ear irrigations.

You work in close collaboration with colleagues and other professions. Together, you contribute to creating a safe, professional, and patient-centered patient meeting, as well as good accessibility and a well-functioning patient flow through care.

About You

You are a licensed nurse assistant. We are looking for you who have experience with sample collection and the tasks found in a laboratory. You work carefully and systematically with high quality awareness and have a professional attitude. As a person, you are service-oriented, responsible, and contribute to a good experience for both patients and colleagues.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You work independently when needed, but at the same time find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships with colleagues and other professional groups. You actively contribute to an open dialogue and a good working climate.

You appreciate a varied workday where the pace may change and where tasks are diverse. Our nurse assistant group is characterized by flexibility, collaboration, and a common focus on creating efficient patient flows through professional attitude and high service awareness.

For us, it is important that all employees feel involved and have the opportunity to contribute their perspectives, experiences, and ideas. You are engaged in the development of the operations, see opportunities in change, and have a positive attitude towards new challenges. With us, no day is like another – and that is part of what makes the work both developing and meaningful.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Application and Employment

Weekly working hours are 40 hours with daytime shifts.

The position is a fixed-term contract of 8 months, with a chance of extension. We work with rolling selection, so please send in your application as soon as possible. Your main placement will be at Finspång Health Centre, but work at Skärblacka Health Centre may occur.

Before employment in a patient-facing role within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to fill out a health declaration.

We warmly welcome your application! If you need help registering in the system, contact Customer Service Support and Service, 010-103 60 00, during office hours.

To staffing, mediation, and recruitment agencies and to you who are a salesperson:

We kindly but firmly decline direct contact with staffing, mediation, and recruitment agencies as well as other external actors and sellers of additional job advertisements. Region Östergötland has procured agreements.
