As one of our employees is going on parental leave, we are now looking for a colleague to join our team at the dialysis unit in Ljungby. You will belong to a small work group consisting of nurse assistants and nurses who work closely together during the day. The position is a parental leave substitute with an initial duration of approximately one year. Start date in September or as agreed. The duration of the substitute position may be adjusted based on the regular employee's parental leave.

Responsibilities

In your role as a nurse assistant, you will perform tasks such as:

• Patient care and nursing
• Patient monitoring
• Sample collection
• Blood pressure monitoring
• Assisting doctors and nurses during examinations
• Administrative tasks (e.g., in the medical record system)
• Collaborating with nurses and other professions regarding patient care
• Assisting with the start and end of dialysis treatments
• Preparing for and following up on dialysis treatments
• Helping with inventory management
• Serving meals
• Culturing via microbiological samples on dialysis machines

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nurse assistant and have experience in patient care. We would appreciate if you have experience working with long-term patient relationships. You have a positive attitude, and good customer service is second nature to you. We value that you can work both independently and in a team.

Education: Nurse Assistant Education – a program focused on care and welfare from upper secondary school or municipal adult education. This corresponds to 1240 upper secondary credits in subjects/courses focused on care and welfare, and 100 upper secondary credits in Swedish or Swedish as a second language.

Employment Terms

• Salary: Monthly salary
• Employment Type: Fixed-term employment
• Duration: 6 months or longer (Preliminary approx. 1 year)
• Start Date: September 2026 or as agreed
• Working Hours: Daytime, Mon-Sat 07:00–16:00. Scheduled every other Saturday.
