We are looking for an independent sub-consultant acting as a Senior Project Manager for IT Workplace solutions for a region in the Stockholm area, part of a larger IT program within the healthcare sector. You will lead and conduct investigations, as well as establish and further develop IT workplace services in a complex and business-critical care environment.

You will work closely with operations, IT, service providers, and program management to ensure sustainable, secure, and user-friendly solutions adapted to the needs of healthcare. The assignment requires a good understanding of regulatory requirements, care-oriented working methods, and high demands on accessibility and information security.

• Period: August 24, 2026 – August 23, 2027 (with an option to extend for 6 months).

• Scope: 100% (the degree of employment may be adjusted during the contract period based on the progress of the operations).

• Location: Stockholm. Hybrid setup agreed upon with the client.

• Application deadline: August 5, 2026 (proposal submission on August 10).

• Language: CV and proposal in Swedish.

• Conduct preliminary studies and investigations related to IT workplace and user-centric services.

• Develop target vision, roadmap, and decision-making materials.

• Lead the consolidation, establishment, and implementation of IT workplace services.

• Coordinate operational requirements, technical requirements, and security requirements, while coordinating stakeholders within operations, IT, security, and external suppliers.

• Ensure structure for processes, governance, and documentation.

• Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations within the program.

• Contribute to change management and implementation activities, and ensure handover to administration and support organizations.

To be considered for the role, you must have competence level 5 and:

• At least 10 years of experience as a project manager in complex IT environments.

• At least 5 years of experience with large-scale IT transformation programs.

• At least 2 years of experience from the healthcare sector or other regulated operations.

• At least 2 years of documented experience with IT workplace services (e.g., Microsoft 365 or other client platforms) and digital workplace at a larger employer (minimum 500 employees).

• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• Driving investigations/preliminary studies involving both operations and IT (minimum 3 years).

• Application packaging, via projects or other working methods.

• A reference assignment within the establishment or management of IT workplace services, performed for the public sector or actors working towards the public sector, in any part during the last 5 years.

The assignment is appointed via a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The evaluation is based on price and quality, where a well-described reference carries significant weight – therefore, be prepared to describe a relevant reference assignment with us (max 2 A4 pages).

The client may contact the reference for verification purposes. If the reference assignment was performed for the same client as this assignment, the reference person must be independent from the client.

Allocation is preliminary in mid-August, and the contract is signed immediately (no contract hold applies), with assignment start on August 24. Selection is ongoing because the client has a tight deadline.
