Role Overview
Scania is leading the industry's transition from being a manufacturer of trucks, buses, and engines to becoming a provider of complete and sustainable transport solutions. Ahead of the summer of 2027, we are looking for a new sales representative for Norrköping, as the current salesperson plans to retire. We are therefore seeking a replacement now. The start date will be agreed upon in dialogue and well before the retirement, likely in early 2027.
The region around Norrköping is at the forefront when it comes to electrification. It is therefore important that you see the opportunities and are curious about the transition to electric vehicles.
Responsibilities
Your role as a sales representative is clear: with a focus on the customer and their business, you will tailor solutions involving trucks and associated services to create the best possible economic outcome for the customer.
Our goal is to help our customers become the most profitable in the industry. To succeed, you must build long-term customer relationships, inspire trust, and gain a deep understanding of the customer's operations.
You are responsible for working out all details together with upfitters and coordinating everything required to present a complete business proposal.
You clearly argue for the customer value. Service solutions and financing solutions are just as important as the truck specification itself to create a long-term successful business.
You work with proactive sales and simultaneously have the ability to nurture and develop existing customer relationships. You have a strong team of colleagues at the dealer and distributor to assist you.
Your Profile
You have a strong interest in sales. The products are technically advanced, and it is an advantage if you have a technical interest that you can translate into value-creating arguments for customers.
You will be responsible for your own district with clear goals regarding volume and profitability. Therefore, it is important that you are driven, self-motivated, and motivated by customer meetings and deals.
Experience in relationship-building B2B sales, preferably within the commercial vehicle industry, is desirable.
Since you have significant responsibility for the business results, you need to have good structure, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle and follow up on deviations.
As a person, you are positive, engaging, and a team player with strong drive. You take initiative and thrive in a changing environment.
You work systematically and have a good ability to prioritize, which helps you keep control of your business.
You are also curious and eager to develop – the industry is changing rapidly, and electrification means that, for example, service and financing solutions are gaining increasing importance.
You speak and write fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Parts of the interview process may take place in English.
A driver's license with category B is required. Having category C, D, or E is an advantage.
The position is full-time with a location in Norrköping. We welcome applicants regardless of gender.
