About Misa Södra Station and MellanMålet
Misa Södra Station and MellanMålet Rehab are two co-located operations on Södermalm. We offer work-oriented activities for adults and young adults on their way to working life or studies. Our focus lies within social psychiatry, but we also meet people with substance abuse issues and individuals transitioning from forensic psychiatry.
Today, we support over 250 participants with the help of a cohesive team of 15 dedicated employment consultants. Based on the IPS method, we collaborate closely with the participants' networks to create a safe and stable path forward.
About the role
As an employment consultant at Misa Södra Station and MellanMålet, you work with employment according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and based on the IPS method. You play a central role in supporting individuals within social psychiatry and the adult unit to take steps towards internships, studies, or work on the open labor market.
The operations offer work and society-oriented support with a focus on the individual's resources and opportunities. In the role, you work closely with the participants and serve as a key link between participants, employers, and other partners.
Responsibilities
- Map participants' resources, needs, and goals together with the individual
- Identify and match participants with internships, studies, or work
- Search for and establish contacts with employers and create opportunities for internships and work
- Support participants in their development and follow up on interventions at workplaces and in studies
- Collaborate with the participant's professional network, such as authorities and other actors
- Contribute to creating sustainable and individualized solutions for participants' establishment on the labor market
About you

Competency requirements
- We are looking for you who have further education as a social pedagogue, or an academic degree as a social worker, occupational therapist, study and career counselor, behavioral scientist, educator, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Merits
- Experience working with individuals within social psychiatry, addiction, or forensic psychiatric care
- Experience supporting and motivating people who have had difficulty establishing themselves on the labor market for various reasons
- Experience in collaborative work with various actors
- Experience in sourcing workplaces and following up on internships and job placements
- Education or knowledge in Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Education or experience with IPS/Supported Employment
- Language skills in Arabic, Persian, or Somali

Permanent position, 100% starting with a six-month probationary period. Planned start in September or as agreed. Extract from the Police Record (Act 1998:620) must be presented before you are offered employment.
