The role contributes to our 24/7 operations by including at least two weekend shifts per month.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you speak additional languages and if you have experience from outpatient clinic work or surgical operations.

What you will be working with
The surgical clinic at Sunderby Hospital belongs to the Division of Operative and Diagnostic Services and the business area General Surgery/Urology. The clinic functions as a county clinic for Norrbotten, and outpatient surgical services are provided at most of our hospitals.
As a Coordination Nurse, you have a central role involving both practical and administrative tasks. This position primarily focuses on coordination within pediatric and hernia surgery, and you will work in a team with our pediatric and hernia surgeons.
You are responsible for coordinating between the patient and other actors in the care team. An important part of the job involves planning and booking appointments for patients as well as providing telephone advice. Assisting physicians as needed is also part of the role. Additionally, the position includes developing the team together with the responsible physicians.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position. The job is primarily scheduled during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. Two weekend shifts per month at our inpatient ward are included. Start date according to agreement.
We conduct background checks before employment decisions in accordance with the provisions of the Act (2013:852) on background checks of persons who are to work with children.
Selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
