About Us

The Forensic Psychiatry Unit at Skaraborg Hospital in Falköping has 33 care beds distributed across three wards for individuals sentenced under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV).

The unit currently has approximately 85 employees and is led by two unit managers. Here, forensic psychiatric nurses, nurses, care assistants, doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, workshop foremen, activity pedagogues, and secretaries work.

The unit also has an outpatient team for patients who no longer need inpatient care but require close follow-up.

About the Job

As a care assistant here, you will work with forensic psychiatric nursing in collaboration with contact persons and the rest of the team. You work closely with the patient and are part of their daily life. You help and support in many different situations, both practically and through conversation. You have access to regular supervision.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have a recognized nursing education or an education that the employer considers equivalent. You are flexible, stable, and self-reliant. You also find it easy to collaborate and are guided by ethics and values in critical situations at work.

It is meritorious if you have an education focused on psychiatry or have previous experience working as a care assistant. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, and you should have an interest in working with forensic psychiatric patients and their specific needs.

You are structured, responsible, and contribute to a good work climate.
