About Us

The psychiatric clinic in Strängnäs is a specialist psychiatric outpatient clinic for the population of Strängnäs Municipality. We are part of the psychiatric clinic at Mälarsjukhuset, and the clinic is located approximately 10 minutes from Strängnäs travel center.

About 28 dedicated employees work at the clinic - doctors, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, care assistants, social workers, and secretaries. The clinic serves a broad target group; we treat ADHD, affective disorders and anxiety disorders, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, psychosis, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your Responsibilities

• Psychological evidence-based treatment individually, internet-based, and in groups for patients with complex problems.
• Various types of investigative work, including neuropsychiatric assessments.
• Conduct psychological assessments.
• Close collaboration with different professional categories, team work.
• Supportive role to colleagues in complex cases.
• Involvement in the clinic's diagnosis-specific patient and relative education programs.
• Administrative tasks related to patient care.
• Contribute psychological competence and knowledge to internal cooperation within the unit and collaborate with external actors as needed.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus.
• Have experience in clinical treatment and investigative work, preferably within psychiatric outpatient services.
• Have the ability and knowledge to conduct psychological group therapy.
• Can perform internet-based CBT.
• Have an interest/knowledge in DBT.
• Are flexible, secure, structured, and responsible.
• Have good collaboration skills and appreciate team work.
• Are curious, unpretentious, and see the value in different perspectives.
• Are inspired by change work and development.
• Have good communication skills and can inspire and spread competence.
