We are expanding with a specialist in General Practice at Kista Health Centre – are you our new colleague?

Kista Health Centre is a well-functioning clinic that has been in operation since 1977, with just under 11,000 registered residents. Here we work with doctors, district nurses, reception nurses, care assistants, medical secretaries, receptionists, rehab coordinators, and CBT psychologists. We are a total of approximately 30 people in the work group. All staff are involved in developing the operations and participate in one of the health centre's quality groups.

About the duties:
Varied work with standard duties as a district doctor in primary care. You will meet patients with acute and chronic diseases and also work preventively. One day a week you will work in home healthcare in close collaboration with a nurse. There is also an opportunity to work at the Child Health Centre (BVC). At Kista Health Centre, you meet patients of all ages! The work requires broad competence and independence. At Kista, there is a good working atmosphere between doctors, nurses, and other professions. If it suits you, there is an opportunity to work from home one day per week.
Employment type:
Permanent position. Full-time. Lower percentage of employment can be discussed if the applicant wishes. Probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.
Requirements:
We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with specialist competence in general practice and eligibility to practice within Swedish healthcare. Experience of having worked in Swedish healthcare, preferably primary care, is meritorious. Experience with the medical record system TakeCare is meritorious.
Personal qualities:
We place great importance on professional treatment of patients, relatives, and colleagues. Planning and flexibility are natural to you, and you are comfortable working independently. Other qualities we value are good teamwork skills and responsiveness. We place great importance on personal suitability.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment medical examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- Requires, in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
