Do you want to join us? We are looking for a physiotherapist for outpatient work focused on primary care rehabilitation, preferably with specialist qualifications. We offer a varied, developmental, and flexible job together with friendly colleagues in the lovely Söder area.

Rehab Södra is a results unit within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO) and provides primary care rehabilitation at four units: Södermalm Rehab, Farsta Rehab, Högdalen Rehab, and Dalen Rehab, with an additional assignment for the Neuroteam. Here, occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and administrative staff work together, totaling approximately 130 employees.

At Södermalm Rehab, approximately 50 people work, of whom about 25 are physiotherapists and 4 are specialists.

Responsibilities:
As a physiotherapist, you will meet patients of all ages with diverse diagnoses and needs. You will work both independently and, when necessary, in teams with other professional groups to achieve the patient's goals. Treatment takes place at the clinic, individually or in groups. You are encouraged to be curious about the breadth of the primary care assignment. You will receive a thorough introduction and have a mentor during your first period with us.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed physiotherapist with a bachelor's degree.
  • Great interest in orthopedics, OMT/OMI, and acupuncture is preferred.
  • Specialist in primary care and orthopedics is meritorious.
  • Experience in primary care rehabilitation is meritorious.
  • Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1.

Employment type:
Permanent, full-time 40 hours/week with flexible working hours. Evening work until 18:30 one day/week is included. Probationary employment may apply. Start date by agreement.

Regarding patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks at employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Requires, in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
