We are looking for an occupational therapist for a permanent position at our clinic in Norrmalm. The position is shared between home rehabilitation and clinic work focused on functional and activity assessment (formerly work capacity assessment) as well as activity balance and structure.
Rehab City Norrmalm is part of the Stockholm County Council (SLSO), an organization that values creativity and development. Job Description:
As an occupational therapist in primary care, you will meet patients of all ages and from different cultures. The patients have different diagnoses and disabilities.
The tasks in primary care are varied. Within home rehabilitation, this includes, among other things, prescribing assistive devices, activity assessments, and training in the patients' homes and immediate surroundings. You will conduct both individual home visits and team visits with a physiotherapist or dietitian.
At the clinic, you will mainly meet patients in need of activity balance and structure, as well as perform functional and activity assessments (formerly work capacity assessment) together with a physiotherapist. Lectures for different patient groups may also occur.
Supervision of students is included in the position.
Employment Type:
Permanent position. Full-time 100%. Probationary period may apply. Working hours Monday–Friday. Start date by agreement.
Qualifications:
- Licensed occupational therapist with a Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS)
- A Master's degree is meritorious
- Experience working in primary care is meritorious
- Experience working with activity balance and structure, functional and activity assessment (formerly work capacity assessment), and home rehabilitation is meritorious

Other Information:
When working in the patient's home, you need to be able to handle environments with fur-bearing animals and not be sensitive to smoke odor.
Bicycle is our primary mode of transport for home visits, so you need to feel comfortable cycling in city traffic.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- Register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through the occupational health service before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
