About Attendo Roden in Norrtälje

At Attendo, we are currently looking for group managers for our new operation in Norrtälje – Attendo Roden, which will open in January 2027. This will be a brand new and modern nursing home with 60 apartments, including 40 places for people with dementia and 20 somatic care places.

As a group manager with us, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved from the very start and contribute to creating a secure, warm, and high-quality operation. Together with dedicated colleagues, you will help establish routines, joy in work, and care where the needs and wishes of the residents are always in focus.

About the role of Group Manager

As a group manager, your primary task is to coach and work hands-on in the daily care work together with the team. The role involves a present and supportive leadership style within the operation, where the majority of the job involves working with our customers. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and ensuring the quality of the operation in accordance with Attendo's working methods and values.

You will have several fellow group managers, and you will collaborate, bounce ideas off each other, and share experiences. As a group manager, you report to the Operations Manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.

Main responsibilities

  • Guide and work in the daily care work together with the team.
  • Responsible for daily operations and planning on the ward/floor for your team.
  • Personnel responsibility; recruitment, introduction of new employees, development discussions.
  • Involved in developing and ensuring the quality of the operation.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Educated as a nurse assistant or equivalent professional experience, preferably within elderly care.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Merits if you additionally have:

  • Previous experience of leadership, coordination, or planning.
  • Experience in elderly care.

About the recruitment process

Summary

  • Role: Group Manager
  • Employment type: Permanent with a 6-month probation period
  • Work hours: Full time 100% (30% administrative and 70% in care)
  • Working hours: Daytime, evenings, and every third weekend.
  • Start date: January 2027 / According to agreement.
