At Mikaeli Health Centre and Family Centre in Baronbacken, we are looking for a midwife who wants to work closely with families, in a warm team where community, security, and professional engagement characterize everyday life.

Mikaeli Health Centre is located in the western part of Örebro and is a well-functioning health centre with a family-like atmosphere. With just over 8,000 registered patients, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the residents in the area, giving you the chance to work personally, build relationships, and make a difference in people's daily lives. You will encounter a varied patient group that provides both breadth and depth to your work as a midwife. We are approximately 40 employees who enjoy working together. Job Responsibilities

We offer you, as a midwife, a varied role in primary care. Your responsibilities include prenatal checks, group parenting support, reproductive and sexual health, gynecological smear tests, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, medication management, and advice.

As a midwife with us, you are part of the Family Centre and collaborate with various actors from healthcare and the municipality, for example through joint home visits and parent groups. Together, we create the best possible health support for our families. You will work in an environment with short decision-making paths, giving you good opportunities to influence your daily work and the direction of the operations.

Qualifications

Registered midwife with prescription rights. Category B driver's license. Experience in primary care is meritorious.

About the Operations

Mikaeli Health Centre is part of the "Close Care" area. The area is tasked with providing care that is common, frequently recurring, or chronic, and therefore needs to be geographically close to patients. The hub for healthcare's transition towards close care is located in this area. The idea behind close care is to bring care within hospitals, health centres, and municipalities closer together. We aim to meet people with complex needs and chronic illnesses in an even better way and work to promote health and prevent disease for all county residents.
