Rehab West is a unit within the primary care services in western Östergötland that offers high-quality rehabilitation to patients in the western part of the county. Our mission is to provide Östergötland residents with safe, quality-assured, and equal rehabilitation regardless of where they live in the county. We currently operate at the Hospital in Motala, in Mjölby, and at some primary care centers in the western part of the county. Rehab West has over 80 employees distributed among physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, and administrators.
We offer rehabilitation in inpatient care, outpatient care, and primary care. Within the Western Primary Care Services, there is close collaboration between units, which creates good conditions for development, participation, and cooperation with other healthcare providers. We also collaborate closely with other rehabilitation organizations in the region. Our operations are characterized by engagement and the desire to develop and improve processes to create added value for the patient. Within Rehab West, we help and support each other, and we are knowledgeable within our professions and assignments. We actively work to use and develop digital solutions to meet the needs of citizens and operations.

Job Description
We are now looking for two additional occupational therapists for the inpatient care group at Rehab West.
We work towards the Medical Specialist Clinic (MSC) on the Geriatric Acute Care Ward (GAVA), Medical Acute Care Ward (MAVA/MOA), Heart Unit, Stroke Unit, and Palliative Unit. The work involves close collaboration with occupational therapist colleagues, physiotherapists, and the rest of the ward team. You will have a primary placement where consideration is taken to the group's composition as well as your competence and experience.
The assignment as an occupational therapist involves assessing and rehabilitating patients, creating rehabilitation plans, and participating in rounds. In the role of care coordinator, you have a key role in holding the team together and informing, planning, and preparing for discharge. The care coordinator role also includes coordinating the professions that are significant so that the patient can feel secure before discharge. We document in the medical record system Cosmic.
Work Group
The closest work group consists of approximately 17 colleagues with the professions of occupational therapist and physiotherapist.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience of rehabilitation in inpatient care and/or care coordination is meritorious. The work requires that you have good language skills in Swedish.
To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. As a person, you are flexible, empathetic, and have good teamwork skills. At the same time, you are structured and can plan your work. You are confident in yourself. Here, it is important that you enjoy working in a team and in close collaboration with colleagues, while also being able to work independently. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability and that you are the right person for our operations.
