Our projects include, among other things, streets, parks, squares, playgrounds, water and sewage systems, harbors, landfills, and social buildings such as schools, nursing homes, swimming pools, sports arenas, hospitals, and health centers. The department also includes a procurement and tendering function.

Your Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will lead projects within the water, sewage, land, and infrastructure sector from preliminary studies and planning to the completed facility. The projects vary in complexity and include, among other things, streets, parks, water and sewage facilities, harbors, and other socially important investments. In this role, you collaborate with clients, consultants, engaged colleagues, contractors, authorities, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and sustainable implementation.
Here you will have a varied assignment with significant personal responsibility and good opportunities to influence both your projects and your working methods. Competence development is a natural part of our work, and we want to give you good conditions to grow in your role. We believe in close collaboration where we share knowledge, support each other, and develop together. We have an open and non-hierarchical dialogue climate where we share knowledge and support each other in both large and small matters. It is important to us that you become part of the team.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who:
- have a relevant university degree or long work experience in equivalent work that the employer considers equivalent
- have experience of project management within municipal, regional, or state organizations
- have good ability to plan, prioritize, and drive projects towards set goals
- express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- hold a B driving license
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience from the consulting or contracting industry
- experience in leading water, sewage, land, infrastructure, and construction projects
- knowledge of contract law
- knowledge of public procurement
- knowledge of environmental legislation
To thrive in the role, you are structured and responsible. You drive your work forward, have an easy time building good relationships, and enjoy collaborating with many different actors. You see the big picture, communicate clearly, and have the ability to make well-founded decisions even when conditions change.
Here you will have the opportunity to work on projects that develop Gotland – today and for the future. If you want to develop Gotland together with engaged colleagues, we look forward to your application.
