Within Höganäs Municipality's Water and Wastewater (VA) department, there are more than 100 facilities, such as wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pressure boosting stations, water towers, etc., which face various future needs. However, what they all have in common is that they need to function 24/7, year-round.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The VA department is currently facing major investments and reinvestments. As a Project Manager for VA facilities, you will work in a team of approximately 15 colleagues within operations. Together with them, and supported by our renewal plan which extends at least 10 years into the future, you will shape your projects.

To thrive in this role, you are a person who takes responsibility, works systematically, and drives your own work forward. You have good collaboration skills and are confident in dialogue with both operations and contractors. Since many projects are carried out in ongoing operations, it is important that you are responsive and solution-oriented. You also have the ability to build trust, keep processes together, and manage several projects at different stages in parallel.

In the role of Project Manager for VA facilities, you have overall responsibility for driving projects forward from planning to implementation. You are responsible for schedules, working environment, and budget adherence, while ensuring that work is performed in accordance with current agreements and legal requirements. Your tasks span the planning of preventive and corrective maintenance, reinvestments, and future renewal needs, including associated budgeting. You also actively work with tender documents, lead construction and project meetings, and coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal actors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant university education or equivalent competence
• Experience with operation and maintenance of municipal water and wastewater facilities
• Experience in planning preventive and corrective maintenance as well as reinvestments and upcoming renewal needs
• Experience in driving facility projects at different stages from investigation, design, to implementation
• Experience with public procurement according to LOU/LUF
• Good knowledge of contract law according to AB, ABT
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Military deployment and security clearance may be required. A B-driver's license is mandatory.
