To our kitchen operations at the Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant, ISS is looking for a positive and engaged person to join us as a Restaurant Assistant.

At ISS Food & Drink, we serve over 42,000 meals every day – featuring traditional Swedish home cooking or innovative crossover dishes. Our guests include preschool children, students, hospital patients, elderly care residents, and staff. The needs vary, the tastes vary, and the environments vary, but all are united by the demand for quality.

We need to strengthen our team at the Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant! We serve daily lunches, conference lunches, business lunches, and salads. A large part of our operations is catering, and we love serving our guests and providing an experience beyond the ordinary lunch restaurant. To thrive with us, you must be flexible, a team player, and love food.

During audit periods, we also operate a fully equipped food truck and a barbecue tent.

Your responsibilities:

As a Restaurant Assistant, you will work with serving meals and preparing food in the cold kitchen. This includes daily salads, raw food buffets, sandwich cakes, and more. Your workplaces include both the cold kitchen and the food truck. You keep your station clean and tidy and deliver high-class service to the customer. Responsibilities also include dishwashing, cleaning, goods receiving, and other daily tasks common in a kitchen. Good knowledge of self-control and special diets is meritorious. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager.

Your profile:

We are looking for you who are service-oriented, attentive, responsible, and proactive, with a genuine interest in food and service. You thrive in the role of company representative and share ISS's desire to deliver world-class service. This means you must have a high service level and a good overview of your workstation. You easily build good relationships with both customers and colleagues. We would appreciate experience working in the restaurant industry.

It is important that you master the Swedish language. A valid B-driver's license is required.

Other:

The position is a fixed-term part-time/hourly employment during audit periods, starting in August. Evenings and weekends may be required. There is a chance for extension to a part-time/hourly position. Interviews are conducted continuously, and for the right person, the position may be filled before the final application deadline of August 18, 2026. The location is Väröbacka.

According to the Security Protection Act, you will need to undergo a security clearance and thus consent to an extract from the Swedish Criminal Records Register to be granted access to the Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant, as it is classified as a protected object.

In the event of employment, you as a candidate will undergo a drug test, where a passing result is required for access to the workplace.
