At Careium, we are looking for alarm operators who want to work administratively at our alarm center in Luleå. As an alarm operator, you play a vital role in ensuring that elderly people and individuals with disabilities receive fast and secure assistance when they need it.
About Careium
Careium is a Swedish company with extensive experience in safety and welfare technology. Since the 1970s, we have developed services and products that contribute to increased security and independence for seniors.
We operate several alarm centers in Europe and two in Sweden, one of which was recently established in Luleå. Our alarm operators work around the clock, year-round, following clear procedures to provide professional support to users, municipalities, and healthcare providers.

Job Responsibilities
As an alarm operator, your tasks include:
- Receiving and handling incoming safety alarms according to current procedures and guidelines
- Relaying alarms based on the nature of the situation
- Working in our digital systems and following established workflows
- Collaborating with colleagues, municipalities, and other healthcare actors
The work is shift-based during days and evenings, and includes working every other weekend.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have work experience in municipal or private elderly care. You are driven by making a difference for other people and are service-oriented. You have a secure and professional attitude and are comfortable communicating via phone, with very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
In your work, you are structured, follow procedures, and can maintain calm even in pressured or urgent situations. You thrive in a focused work environment and find it easy to concentrate during longer shifts. Since the role is administrative, you need to be accustomed to working in digital systems and handling computers in your daily work.
It is an advantage if you are trained as a nursing assistant. Speaking Finnish is also a plus.
What we offer

Employment Type
We are looking for both employees who want to work full-time on a schedule and those who prefer a more flexible fixed-term employment.
Start date from August at the earliest, or as agreed.
