We are currently looking for a welder (MIG / MAG / TIG / Laser) for Hughes Power System AB in Nättraby. The position can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis.

About the Role

The role includes standard tasks for a welder. You will be responsible for welding according to work instructions and drawings, as well as controlling and ensuring the quality of the manufactured product. Working hours are during the day.

Main Responsibilities

Production on the welding department involves independent work at a normal pace, as well as rotation between different components and welding methods for both carbon steel and stainless steel.

You will also be responsible for restoring welded surfaces, including the removal of oxides and grinding.

Preventive maintenance, such as internal and external cleaning, is performed according to schedule when time permits. You will also pick up and deliver materials from the warehouse using a forklift in accordance with the current production plan.

Who Are You?

We prefer that you have a technical high school education and experience from the manufacturing industry, with a focus on welding. You should hold valid welding certifications (MIG/MAG/TIG) covering the areas the operator will be working in, according to applicable SS-EN ISO standards. Good skills in reading technical drawings are required.

Furthermore, you are a social, cooperative, and structured person who likes to take initiative.
