Help our operations succeed! We are now looking for an Operations Developer and Administration Manager for our decision support. Our managers and employees need first-class support to plan, monitor, and develop their delivery and results. The support systems must be user-friendly and aligned with needs and working methods – here we need you who can develop and drive this as part of our municipal shared support.

The position is located at the Planning and Monitoring Unit within the Finance Department, part of the Municipal Executive Office. At our Municipal Executive Office, we bring together many competencies to ensure that committees and boards implement the decisions made by the Municipal Council, as well as to support other departments in their work. The Finance Department leads and coordinates the municipality's planning and monitoring work. We work in a process-oriented manner and in close collaboration with the municipality's various operations.

Responsibilities

The municipality is developing its work with planning, monitoring, and quality to create integrated processes and system support that strengthen steering, prioritization, and continuous improvements. The role involves close collaboration with operations, managers, specialists, and colleagues within planning, monitoring, innovation, and BI.

You will have a leading role in the administration and development of the municipality's decision support, currently primarily Stratsys, and support operations in the use of the system. You are responsible for planning, prioritizing, further developing, and monitoring the system support and its connection to the municipality's planning and monitoring processes. The system is also used for quality work, occupational health and safety work, and risk management.

The responsibilities are both strategic and operational and include among other things:

  • Coordinating the requirements and needs of operations, acting as a contact person for suppliers, and leading tenders if necessary.
  • Being responsible for system administration, permission administration, training, and user support.
  • Creating instructions and ensuring system documentation.
  • Participating in and driving development and improvement projects.
  • Scanning the external environment and contributing development proposals.

You will have many contact surfaces and collaborations with managers and operations, and you will have support in our team where we develop competence and working methods. Digitalization and efficiency are in focus so that the entire Finance Department can provide first-class support to the municipality's operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant post-secondary education, for example with a focus on public administration, IT, or economics, or alternatively several years of working life experience that we assess as equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience in analysis, system administration, or controlling.
  • Experience working with organizational or operational development or project management.
  • Experience in strategic and operational work with steering in group-wide management processes in a public operation (e.g., municipality).
  • Experience working with complex business systems such as economic or decision support systems.
  • Practical experience of working in Stratsys.
  • Experience in providing user support, informing, and teaching.
