Do you want to take a key role in a high-tech company where accounting, financial reporting, and development go hand in hand? As the Accounting Manager at Silex, you will have an important role in Silex's finance function with significant responsibility for both statutory accounting and group accounting according to IFRS. In this role, you will report to the Group Financial Manager.

We are looking for someone who thrives on combining operational responsibility with strategic accounting issues and wants to help develop the finance function in a company that is in constant development.

In the role, you will:

  • Be responsible for company accounting, closing, and ongoing accounting matters.

  • Prepare group consolidation and contribute to financial reporting to management, the board, and external stakeholders.

  • Handle tax calculations, declarations, and issues related to VAT and tax.

  • Act as the contact person for external auditors and support the organization in accounting assessments.

  • Work with IFRS-related accounting issues, including lease and hedge accounting.

  • Be the system owner for the group consolidation system AARO and drive improvements and efficiencies in financial processes.

  • Drive and coordinate finance-related projects and contribute to internal control and corporate law compliance.

The Finance Team

You will become part of Silex's finance function and work closely with the Group Financial Manager, CFO, and other colleagues within Finance. The team plays a central role in the business and collaborates daily with Supply Chain, HR, and payroll, among others, and supports managers and leadership with financial and accounting-related questions. The role also involves ongoing contact with external auditors and banks, offering great opportunities to influence and develop working methods and processes.

We are looking for you who:

  • Have at least a bachelor's degree in economics or a related field.

  • Have worked in auditing or accounting where you have gained experience in qualified accounting work from a complex and preferably manufacturing environment.

  • Have experience with group accounting, closing, and financial reporting.

  • Have worked with or come into contact with IFRS and feel confident handling complex accounting issues.

  • It is a plus if you have experience from a listed company or another environment with high demands for financial reporting and corporate governance.

  • Have good knowledge of tax and VAT.

  • Are a proficient system user and have very good skills in Excel. Experience with AARO or similar consolidation systems is meritorious.

  • Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

  • Are structured, analytical, and thrive on taking individual responsibility while having good collaboration skills.

The position is located at our headquarters in Järfälla, Stockholm, and in this role, you are expected to work on-site. We therefore expect that you appreciate the close collaboration with the business and value daily cooperation with colleagues.
