Lunds Waldorf School, founded in 1978 and located in the scenic area of Hardeberga near Lund, is now seeking flexible and dedicated hourly substitute cleaners. The school is a non-profit foundation driven by educational ideals, with approximately 170 students in grades F–9 and around 40 staff members.

Operations at Lunds Waldorf School are built on the principles of Waldorf pedagogy, where care, community, and a close connection to nature are integral parts of the school's holistic approach. A clean and well-maintained school environment is vital for the daily lives of students and staff, contributing to well-being, health, and good conditions for learning.

Job Responsibilities

As an hourly substitute cleaner, you step in as needed and support the daily work of cleaning and maintaining the school's premises. Your tasks may include:

• cleaning classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, and other common areas,
• cleaning toilets and hygiene facilities,
• emptying trash and replenishing consumable supplies,
• vacuuming, mopping, and wiping surfaces,
• following the school's routines for cleaning, hygiene, and safety,
• contributing to a clean and safe environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

You must be available for at least one substitute shift per week. If this is not possible, we kindly ask you not to apply for the position.

Experience in cleaning, school cleaning, public environments, or similar operations is advantageous. The most important qualities are that you are responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently according to established routines.

• have a good understanding of hygiene and cleaning routines,
• be flexible and able to step in with short notice,
• treat students and staff with friendliness and respect.

Employment Terms

• Hourly employment with hours based on need.
