Drivers and Machine Operators

Ohlssons was founded in 1998 in Landskrona and today has approximately 850 employees, operations in about 50 municipalities across Sweden, and a turnover of over 1.5 billion SEK. The company provides municipalities and businesses with services within waste management, sludge and water/sewage, recycling, transport, and contracting. About the Role

We are looking for drivers and machine operators who wish to work extra hours, part-time, or be available to step in with short notice when needs arise. Whether you are looking for a few shifts a week or are a retiree who still wants to stay active, you are warmly welcome to submit an expression of interest.

As a driver with us, you are a vital part of the daily flow that keeps society running. Whether you work with household waste collection, transport of recyclable materials, or drive gravel and excavation transport within contracting, you contribute directly to a sustainable and functional infrastructure.

We have a broad and modern fleet of vehicles, including garbage trucks, swap bodies, lift dumpers, crane trucks, and vans. This means that tasks vary depending on the assignment and your competence. Some roles involve working in urban environments with recurring routes, while others involve contracting work in close collaboration with machine operators and colleagues in the field.

You receive your assignments from the operations manager/transport manager but have significant responsibility for planning and executing your drives in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner. Daily inspection of vehicles and equipment is a natural part of the job.

As part of Ohlssons, you represent us in daily interactions with customers. A professional and service-oriented attitude is a natural part of the work.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a Category C driving license; Category CE is required for some assignments
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB)
• A few years of experience as a driver
• Basic IT skills
• Good proficiency in Swedish
• Local knowledge of the region is an advantage
• Depending on the vehicle and assignment, additional qualifications may be required, such as CE license, crane operator certificate over 18 ton-meters, or ADR.
• Work on weekends may occur in some assignments.
