The Role of Assistant Nurse, Care Assistant, and Helper with Us

Work in home care consists largely of independent work and personal responsibility, but you also work together with your colleagues with the care recipient's best interest in focus. In your work, you will meet people with different needs and work in their homes. The work includes practical help such as care, support during meals, and various activities, so you will work at a flexible pace.

The work involves traveling between care recipients by car or bicycle. Therefore, you need to have a B-driver's license or be able to cycle. You will work from a schedule that includes days, evenings, and every other weekend. You will have the opportunity to perform health and medical care interventions after instruction and delegation from a nurse, as well as digital documentation.

Your Profile

You love working with people; you are a spreader of joy who gives energy to your care recipients and colleagues. You contribute to the experience of security by taking responsibility for tasks and providing reliable and professional treatment. As a person, you enjoy working independently and can adapt to changing circumstances while seeing opportunities in everyday life. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is at least 18 years old
• holds a valid B-driver's license or can cycle

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Care & Social Services, all employees in home care and care housing are employed at 100% capacity, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their working hours to the desired level based on operational needs.

Before an employment offer is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record must be presented. Background checks may be conducted prior to employment.

As of July 1, 2023, "Assistant Nurse" is a protected professional title.
