About the role

We are looking for a systems specialist with expertise in the Red Hat ecosystem and container platforms based on OpenShift/Kubernetes. The person will have a central role in operations and automation, as well as in the further development of business-critical platform services with high demands for availability, security, and stability. The role requires both strategic vision and operational capability, where the employee is expected to lead technical initiatives, support the operations organization, and contribute to architecture and security matters.

The work as a systems specialist includes the following daily routines in our container platform:

• Operations, administration, and further development of our OpenShift/Kubernetes platform
• Ensuring high availability, security, and performance
• Incident management and troubleshooting
• Support for development teams regarding containerization and CI/CD
• Documentation and standardization
• Participation in projects and implementations

About you

We are looking for you who have a university education in a relevant field, or equivalent experience that we assess as comparable. We also see that you have at least one year of experience working with OpenShift/Kubernetes and container operations in a production environment. You are confident in complex troubleshooting and have experience in production-critical environments. You can make technical decisions independently and support both operations and development teams.

We also require that you have previously worked with scripting languages such as Bash or Python and have experience with Infrastructure as Code. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with:

• ArgoCD
• Ansible/Helm
• VMware Ceph or other container storage

It is also an advantage if you have experience with:

• Hybrid or multicloud environments
• Security hardening
• IAM/RBAC
• Vulnerability management
• Logging and monitoring

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have a good understanding of networking, DNS, certificates/TLS, load balancing, LDAP/AD integration, and if you have certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat OpenShift Certification.

You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward. Furthermore, you are development-oriented as you are motivated by learning new things and developing yourself. You come up with new ideas and take initiative for improvements. You actively monitor the external environment within your profession and regularly reflect on what needs to be developed in your operations.

We also see that you are service-oriented in your approach. You are positive, find solutions, and want to help. You understand what we are here for and ensure that those we work with are satisfied. You collaborate well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.

You are also structured in that you plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently. You ensure that work is completed on time and follow up on results.

Other

The work takes place primarily on weekdays during office hours, but evening and weekend work as well as on-call duties may occur as needed.

Selection is ongoing, and interviews are planned for weeks 32, 35, and 36.
