UMS Skeldar is in an exciting growth phase with new contracts and increased deliveries of the Skeldar V-200. Therefore, we are strengthening our production team with an additional technician. Here you will work with advanced technology in a business where quality, precision, and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to influence how we continue to develop our production and contribute to world-class deliveries.
Technician at UMS Skeldar:
You will become part of the production team, which consists of 25 people with roles such as logistician, production planner, material planner, and technician. The team has overall responsibility for production, including planning and construction of helicopters and ground stations. You will start your role with training where you will learn the systems from the ground up. As you become more independent, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and eventually perform all tasks autonomously.
The production technology team currently consists of 10 people. In the role of Technician in production, you will:
- Become a mechanical expert on our complex V200 helicopter
- Build complete helicopters from scratch
- Assemble and implement customer adaptations on helicopters, ground stations, and other related systems within mechanics and electronics
- Contribute to the development of production operations and our working methods, as well as work with continuous improvements.
At UMS Skeldar, every day brings new challenges, and here you have a unique opportunity to become part of a production team with high work ethic while helping to develop the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the future. Since the department collaborates closely with our flight organization and their helicopter technicians, you will also interact with these colleagues and provide support in their areas when needed.
