The Property Department is responsible for premises where people learn, work, exercise, and receive care every day.

We manage approximately 200 buildings with a total area of around 270,000 square meters. Here you will find schools, preschools, nursing homes, sports facilities, and other important operational premises.

The Property Department consists of the units project, management, cleaning, and operations. Together, we are approximately 150 employees working to ensure our properties are safe, functional, and sustainable.

Job Description

As a Property Maintenance Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring our properties function as intended. You work independently with supervision, maintenance, operations, and minor repairs in several of the municipality's properties.

In this role, you will among other things:

• perform inspections, rounds, and preventive maintenance
• receive and handle fault reports with a focus on good service
• perform minor tasks within plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• work with locks, alarms, and security-related issues
• troubleshoot minor problems within heating, ventilation, and operations
• read and follow up on consumption of water, heat, and electricity
• conduct systematic fire protection work (SBA)
• collaborate with operation technicians, contractors, tenants, and managers.

The work is varied and gives you great opportunities to take personal responsibility while being part of a knowledgeable team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a high school education in property, technology, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• have experience in property maintenance or similar work
• are technically interested and hands-on
• have a good sense of service and a professional attitude
• take responsibility and work in a structured manner
• have good computer skills
• can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• find it easy to collaborate but also thrive working independently.
• A B-driver's license is required.

On-call duty may be included in the assignment.
