About the role:

The Machine Setter plays a crucial role in ensuring production runs smoothly. You will be responsible for reconfiguring and setting up machines in the production line. The work includes preparing for upcoming changeovers and then executing them. It is also important to ensure that preventive maintenance is carried out according to established guidelines.

In this role, you will also work with a range of different tasks within production, including:

  • Performing simpler corrective maintenance interventions when needed.
  • Continuously carrying out inspections and checks of both products and equipment, all in accordance with current work instructions.
  • Executing work tasks according to work instructions.
  • Working to ensure that order and tidiness are always maintained in the workplace.
  • Participating continuously in the change and improvement work that is ongoing to optimize production.
  • Addressing the most common causes of stoppages in at least two production units/lines.
  • Performing quality controls according to current work instructions.

You are located in Karlsborg and report to the Process Manager Components.

The position initially involves a 2-shift system. Other common shift patterns include night shifts and weekend shifts.

Our candidate:

We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education, preferably with a technical or industrial focus. Previous experience from industrial manufacturing and CNC technology is meritorious but not a requirement. Furthermore, we expect you to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You also have an understanding of English, both orally and in writing.

You have the ability to work independently as well as in a team, and you have a high level of safety awareness as well as a strong focus on quality in your work. We also see that you are an engaged, flexible, and responsible colleague with good collaboration skills. Furthermore, we would like you to have good computer skills and an aptitude for improving and influencing the organization towards more sustainable work.
