We are currently looking for a nursing assistant for the Vårdcentralsjouren Örebro.

Vårdcentralsjouren is a workplace that offers you friendly colleagues, good development opportunities, and is a workplace where we daily meet patients in need of rapid assessment in primary care. The Vårdcentralsjouren clinic is located at Skebäck Primary Care Centre and is open in the evenings and on weekends.

The work at the clinic is varied and changes depending on which patients come to the clinic and what health problems these patients need help with. As a nursing assistant, you meet patients who come for the clinic's sample collection or assist during doctor and nurse visits at the clinic. With your care and fine handling, you create value for the patients and your colleagues. The work includes various clinic tasks such as dressing/wound care, ECG examinations, assisting with suturing, etc.

The clinic is staffed not only with you as a nursing assistant but also with on-call doctors, medical care administrators, and nurses. A large part of the work takes place in close cooperation and through tight communication with the rest of the team on site at the clinic, and as a nursing assistant, you are responsible for sample collection and the on-call laboratory.

We welcome you who are trained as a nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To be able to assess employability, grades from your healthcare education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title must be attached to your application. We are looking for you who:

• Are confident in your professional role and can make independent decisions and together in a team
• Enjoy a varied and sometimes fast-paced work environment
• Have good communication and cooperation skills
• Have a professional and empathetic approach towards both patients and colleagues

Advantageous is experience of working within primary care, emergency care or similar operations, that you have knowledge of dressing/wound care and experience of sample collection and handling of samples.

The application should contain a CV, cover letter, and grades from completed healthcare courses, as well as possible proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title. Other certificates, grades, diplomas, etc. should be provided at a possible interview.
