Registered Psychiatric Nurse for Sandviken

Our psychosis clinic covers the entire Gästrikland region, treating approximately 600 patients distributed across three teams: two in Gävle and one in Sandviken. Our mission includes structured diagnostics, care, and treatment for patients with psychotic disorders aged 18 and older. Our operational philosophy is based on cohesive care centered around the individual patient.

Job Responsibilities

We need to strengthen the team in Sandviken with a specialist nurse. You will be based in Sandviken, although occasional workdays in Gävle may occur. Your introduction will be conducted together with several experienced colleagues. Furthermore, you will work in close collaboration with nursing staff, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, and doctors. We are looking for someone who likes structure and wants to work in an experienced team with the patient's best interests in focus.

As a psychiatric nurse with us, you will among other things work with standard nursing tasks such as:

• Medication distribution
• Counseling/Talks
• Collaboration

Qualifications

The work requires that you have the ability and interest to see the whole patient and their needs, as well as that you appreciate longer patient relationships. You are good at collaborating, and as a person, we see that you can work independently, are sensitive, and have an easy time cooperating and communicating with others. You appreciate that every day is different and have no problem planning around when the situation requires it. We would like you to have a strong interest in working with this specific psychosis target group and comorbidity.

In the role of psychiatric nurse, you must:

• Be a registered psychiatric nurse or have other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Have a valid B driver's license.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience from previous work in psychiatric outpatient care and preferably experience in psychosis care and comorbidity.
