We are currently looking for Test Cell Engineers for our facility in Södertälje. AVL is a leading partner in Electromobility, Vehicle, and ADAS/AD within the automotive and energy industries. About the Role

As a Test Cell Engineer, you work closely with both technology and customers, ensuring that test objects and test cells function optimally throughout the entire testing process. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing, installing, and monitoring test objects.
• Performing calibration, service, and maintenance of both test objects and test cells.
• Quality assurance and analysis of test data.
• Configuring measurement systems, both hardware and software.
• Working systematically with troubleshooting and documentation.
• Performing practical work with test equipment, cargo handling, and logistics.
• Identifying and reporting deviations.
• Having daily contact and close collaboration with customers, making communication and relationship building a central part of your daily routine.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• The ability to work both independently and in a team.
• A strong desire to develop and learn new things.
• Documented experience in practical mechanical work with vehicles, machinery, or similar.
• An understanding of the importance of following processes and routines, as well as the ability to solve problems independently.
• A quality-conscious approach and interest in improvement work.
• Good technical understanding of powertrains.
• The ability to communicate clearly in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• The possibility to work according to shift schedules (2-, 3-, or 4-shift).
• A valid driver's license (Category B) (mandatory).

Meritorious qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in testing or development in a controlled environment.
• Documented experience in customer-facing work.
