Are you currently working as a Service Technician and want to become our future Kia Master Technician?
You currently work with advanced diagnostics and complex vehicle problems, and you are the person others call when things get stuck. We are now looking for you who want to take the next step and develop into our future Kia Master Technician in Hörby.
You do not need to know Kia from the start. If you have the technical foundation and the ambition to be the best, we will ensure you receive the right training and tools.
About the Role
As a Master Technician at Bilmånsson, you have a central and qualified role in the workshop. You are responsible for advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs according to the manufacturer's highest technical standards. By combining technical expertise with a coaching approach, you contribute to high quality in all workshop work and ensure that both the team and the customer get the best possible results.
The role involves working independently with complex technical issues, analyzing recurring problems, and proposing long-term solutions. You act as a technical expert and provide important support during the introduction of new car models, systems, and working methods, including training and mentoring colleagues.
The role also involves ongoing dialogue with the general agent's technical support when needed.
As a Master Technician, you ensure that all work is performed according to current safety, quality, and environmental requirements, including correct documentation and procedures. You are also responsible for the safety of electric vehicles.
Competence Requirements
- Vehicle technical education.
- Documented experience in advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and technical problem-solving.
- Very good knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, electric and hybrid systems, as well as the use of the manufacturer's digital systems and tools.
- Pedagogical ability and experience in training, supporting, and mentoring colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and make well-founded technical decisions in complex situations.
- Good communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Category B driver's license.

The position is permanent, full-time, located at Bilmånsson in Hörby.
