We are now looking for an Algorithm Developer who has a passion for software development and an interest in the future of battery technology.

The position is a fixed-term contract for 6 months with a start date in September-October, based in Huskvarna.

Your role

You will be part of our team that develops embedded software for Husqvarna batteries. The team works across the entire spectrum of software engineering – Specification, Design, Implementation, Test, and Documentation. The code is written in C and the test cases in C++. The batteries are used across the entire product range, and the organizational aim is to bring intelligent power to future products.

You will work closely with passionate colleagues who are experts in their respective fields. Through collaboration, both within the team and together with our stakeholders, you will aim to find the best possible value for our products.

The collaboration spans functions and divisions. In your daily work, you will move between the local team and global suppliers and partners. By being part of this team, you will see and be part of the entire product development chain, from idea to end customer within your segment. Your role is to continue developing our algorithms, such as State of Charge (SoC), etc., used in the batteries.

About you

To fit into this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Applied Physics with a focus on algorithms.
• Experience in C/C++, Python, and/or Matlab/Simulink is a must.
• Relevant experience is a must.
• Experience in software engineering is meritorious.
• Experience in batteries or applications using batteries is meritorious.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
• Proficiency in Swedish is meritorious.
